24

Hello,

Twenty Four years ago today, I married the love of my life.  We have been through some of the most wonderful times and some of the most difficult times, but I wouldn't have wanted to go through them with anyone else.

Didn't we look like babies?

Now we are older, wiser, and still in love!

He is my rock, my soft place to fall, and a wonderful father to our children.

Here is to another twenty four PLUS years!!! I am looking forward to every second!!

Happy Anniversary, to us!!

Until Next Time...

Celebrating 23

Hello Everyone,

Today, 23 years ago, I married the love of my life!  Since then we have grown and changed in many ways.

Look at us... so young!

Now as we prepare to be empty nesters in just a few short months, things will change again.

Look at us... much older!

But through all the changes, I love you more than ever and wish us many, many more years of happiness!

Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart!

Until Next Time...

Twenty... 20!!

Hello Everyone,

The number 20 means a lot of things, but on this particular day 20 years ago is when I married this wonderful man!

Yes, we have been married for 20 years today. I am in amazement over what we have accomplished during our 20 years. Although we have really been together for about 24 years. For myself personally, I am proud to call myself his wife. He has taught me so much in all these years. He is really my rock. I know that is very cliche, but it is oh so true.
Here are just a few of the reasons why I love him so much:
He is patient.
He is kind.
He is supportive.
He makes me laugh.
He grounds me.
He helps me to see things in a different way.
He is a terrific father to our children.
He is a wonderful provider.
He loves me.
I could go on an on, but I think you get the picture!

Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart!

Studio Pics and Stuff

Well, today is our wedding anniversary! I got up early wished my hubby a happy and came down to update my blog!! We did celebrate on Friday, by going to see Larry the Cable Guy at Mohegan Sun. After being married for 18 years you need to have some sense of humor. He was very funny! We were able to have a nice dinner and stayed overnight, as my parents came and stayed with the kids.

Now onto the q
uilting segment of this post! As I promised, here are some pictures of my newly organized studio. This first one shows how I utilized the Ikea cabinets to organize my fabric stash and my books. I can see everything now and really enjoy working in my studio. These cases fit perfectly in the one dormer. Here are 2 more pictures that show my stash a little better. I love the fact that I was able to group my stash in "categories".

I also have a photo here of a
great way to hang your quilts. I just had my husband space out 4 decorative curtain rods on the wall and folded some quilts over them. I have to say that I am not the one who came up with this idea. Holly had this on her wall in her house and I loved it. So thanks Holly for a great idea.

One more thing that I thought you might all like. If you go to The Happy Zombie's blog she has a
wonderful downloadable table runner pattern. The pattern is on her November 19th post and is called the Jingle Jolly table runner. It looks like a nice pattern to do on a snowy winter day.

Enjoy!

Jackie
