Inside and Outside Quilt Market #5

Hello Everyone,

Yes, I know you are probably all asking yourselves... "Isn't she done yet with those Quilt Market posts?" Clearly the answer is no. But rest assured I have thousands of pictures... only kidding. Really, I am weeding through them and taking only ones that I think might interest you.

But first, go over to my Etsy shop and take a look at the new 1930s charm packs and die cut circles I added. Shameful plug for my shop, sorry.

Okay, now onto the fun inside market...

Looking down onto the market floor anxiously waiting for the doors to open!

My travel partner/friend Pam chomping at the bit to get into market. Right now she is home nursing a sore mouth due to some oral surgery, ouch. Pam rest up and eat lots of ice cream, this is one time in your life you can use that excuse and not feel guilty. Please go and wish her well and say hello...

Ahhh... the ever popular Moda Bake Shop Booth. See the quilt that I quilted there?

Wait here is a closer look. Vickie, the Mid Ohio Quilter pieced it, I quilted it, and then it was on Moda Bake Shop. How cool is that? The tutorial and pattern is called Candy Buttons. Say Hi to Vickie for me while you are there.

Then I ran into Rachel (ps. I quilt!) and Julie (jaybird quilts). They were all over the place, really fun and nice. Go over to their blogs and say hello!

Now the outside market portion of the post. So across from the convention center there is a really great little park. A nice little place to eat that has the best sweet potato fries ever. This year they had an Eco globe exhibit. Each one was different and showed us how to go green.

Here is the colorful mosaic bathrooms.

Some people painting in the park. Their shirts look like good quilting fabric, don't you think?

This one was a little weird. They were having some kind of animal/environment/hunting thing going on. This one vendor had this rack of "racks"... ha ha. Anyway, it was kind of strange to see stuffed animals just hanging out there. A little boy about 3 years old had walked up while we were standing there and exclaimed "Whooooooooaaaaaa"!

Another eco globe.

So that is it for this post, more to come next time. You just never know what you might find or see. Make sure you stop back.

Until Next Time...
