Wind It Up Wednesday

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday was a fun day in the studio.  When I first opened up my classroom, I not only wanted to teach there, but also to provide a place for quilters to come and finish up those UFOs.  We all have them don't we??  This is one of the best days.  I love spending time with everyone that comes and thoroughly enjoy seeing what they are working on too!

Let me show you some of the things everyone worked on today.

I was doing the layout of my Bali Bed Runner.  YES... I will be kitting this and will have it for sale in our online shop soon.  In the meantime, if you would like the pattern you can purchase it by clicking here.  In the meantime, I am having such fun with this pattern.  I love the fabrics and I am loving the layout now that I have it down.

Fran was working on this One Block Wonder.  The original fabric was weathervanes, how cool is that?

Leslie worked on a few Advent calendars.  Very cute panels!

Nancy was working on a wonderful baby quilt.  She used the Slideshow pattern, which you can find here and all Kaffe Fassett fabrics which you can find here.  I love how it came out!! Lucky baby!!

Lorraine was working on her Indian Summer Quilt.  I love her batiks that she picked.  This quilt is going to be drop dead gorgeous!  You can find the pattern here and batiks here.

Leslie began cutting a new project and Karen had her One Block Wonder on the wall.

Karen was working on the same quilt that Roberta had completed.  Two different quilts, two different looks.

Roberta finished sewing the body of her Indian Summer Quilt together, isn't it gorgeous?

This is why I LOVE Wind It Up Wednesday!

Until Next Time...

I love quilting with others. If your studio was closer to me Jackie, I would be at every one of your open sew UFO days!

Hi Jackie,

Please consider making kits in that colorway for the full Queen (or king!!) Bali Wedding Star. Those colors are GORGEOUS and I want to make a full quilt from them!
