Diamonds

Hello Everyone,

On Saturday, I taught the 2nd and last session of the Summer Solstice class at Sturbridge Quilting and Sewing.  Let me just say what an awesome group of ladies.

Let's take a peek at their progress.

Lone star diamonds being laid out with the NYB.

Gayanne finished a diamond.

Linda finished two...

Beautiful!!

Ruth has two diamonds done...

Margrit's quadrant is all sew together.  This is the exciting part.

A look at how the upper half of the quilt will appear.

So I am curious... How many of you have ever paper pieced?  If you haven't, why not?  If you have, did you like it?

If you would like to see more photos from this class, just click here.

Until Next Time...

I love paper piecing, but have not yet attempted such a complicated project like this one. But would love to some day!
