1930s

Hello Everyone,

Most of you know that I have a love affair with 1930s fabrics. So much so, that I have added a new collection to my shop. The collection is Storybook VII c.1930 by Windham Fabrics. It is such a sweet collection, with wonderful colors and prints. The mosaic below shows what is currently in stock.

I also have the entire collection available in fat quarters. I will be adding charm squares and 2.5 inch 1930 rolls too.

You can also find this collection in the kit that is available in my shop. The quilt is called Sweet Baby Dreams and is featured in the Spring issue of Quilt Magazine. Such a sweet quilt!

Please go check them out in my shop, I know you will love them. Now I am off to a retreat and very excited to have some dedicated sewing time. I am sure I will have lots to share when I return. Oh, and my March, 2010 Newsletter is online for your reading pleasure.

Until Next Time..

have at your retreat and show us what you made when you get back - unless you start talking and have so much fun that you don't finish anything!

I have always liked the 30's prints. I have a collection of actual 30's scraps that is calling for hexagons or dresden plates. That FQ stack is very tempting but I just spent a wad of cash on a camping trailer, so I'll have to shop the stash for a while.
