Hello Everyone,
Yay!! The top is now Queen Size and complete!! My Glacier Star is now done... well I still need to quilt it, but for right now it is complete.
You will remember me blogging about it several times. The "inside" was done on this blog post.
Lots of curved flying geese later...
and four corner borders...
we now have grown into a Queen!
I am very happy with it. As I had said... way back when... these colors wouldn't normally be ones that I would choose. You all know me as being bright and bold, so I stepped out of my box just a whee bit and I love the result!!
Too bad I don't have a Queen Size bed, I have King. But let me tell you, this is not getting any bigger. It will reign as Queen for a long time to come.
For those of you wondering, it is a Judy Niemeyer pattern. You can find most of her patterns in my shop by clicking here. They are all paper pieced. If you haven't done any paper piecing, you can follow my tutorial which can be found by clicking here.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway going on here.
Until Next Time...

Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous quilt! You have created an heirloom, most certainly. I learned to paper piece in the mid '90s, but rarely do it any more. This is definitely making me reconsider!

Could you tell me the name of this pattern and what book it is in? I love how you have interpreted it and made it into a queen-sized quilt!
