Hello Everyone,
Back in July you will remember that I was in Montana taking the Teacher Certification Class from Judy Niemeyer. If not you can see some of the posts here. I showed my progress on the new Technique of the Month (TOM) the Mariner's Compass.
Since I have been back I have been working on my daughter's college quilt. Now that it is off the design wall, I put the Mariner's Compass up on the wall.
This is the center. Remember, this is not yet pieced together. I have to get all the pieces joined.
This is all that would fit on the design wall. It is going to be much bigger than this too!
Anyway, if you are interested in seeing more of my paper pieced quilts and my own designs, I will be speaking and doing a trunk show at The Clamshell Quilt Guild in Waterford, CT tomorrow August 15, 2012.
Then on Thursday I will be doing an all day Judy Niemeyer paper piecing workshop.
If you are in the area on Wednesday evening come join me, I would love to meet you! Just click here for the guild's information.
Stay tuned for more progress on the Mariner's Compass.
Until Next Time...
