I must have this for my library because I'm a book-a-holic! I love using them as references, inspiration and just plain old eye candy. This one looks really useful as well as pretty.
Good morning. The book looks like a great reference, and well, because we can't know everything I'm sure we can learn something new. Im not the worlds best quilter... only ever do fusible applique and would love to learn needle turn. Also would love to work on free motion quilting. And no, never heard of Kantha quilting before. Thanks!
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity, Jackie! This book looks like an excellent resource for a beginning quilter like me. I have a small (but treasured) quilting book collection, and this book would be an essential, comprehensive reference that would be well-used (and browsed just for fun, too).
That looks like a great book for any quilter to have on hand! Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love having a quilting reference book.
I would also love to have this book in my craft room. I love collecting craft books as much as I love crafting and this looks like a great one!

I love to peruse magazines and books, especially with quilting patterns and tips in them. I'd love to win this book. Thanks for the free pattern!
I don't have a quilting bible in my library... so when I need to get 'help' with a technique I am going through at least 4 books to find instructions! Sure would be nice to have to only check one! Thanks for the chance!
Thanks for the free pattern! I could use a boost to my sewing, this book would be perfect.
I love all quilting books! I have a bunch but I really need this one too. I can just spend an evening looking through all my books.
Looks like a terrific book! I would love to have a resource book such as this because even though I've been quilting for a long time, I'm always looking to learn something new (in fact just did a week ago - from a much younger quilter!). I have a couple of resource books I consult often but they're a little dated now (from the early 90s. Thanks so much!
I have a daughter who is expressing interest in quilting, and this would be a good birthday gift for her quilting library. Kathie L in Allentown

This book looks like it would have a lot of techniques all in one place. I would love to have it in my library and am going to Amazon right now to add it to my wish list!
Looks like a fabulous book! Thanks for the chance! :-) Have a happy weekend!
After over 30 years of quilting I have way too many quilt books so add to the collection very carefully now. This looks like it would be a great addition and one I one use frequently so please add me to the drawing.
This would be a good addition to my library because it would be nice to have a single reference book I could turn to any time I needed to look something up. Even so, if I won, I would give the book to a friend of mine who is now starting her third quilt because she doesn't have any books to refer to yet and I think it would be more valuable to her.
This would be a great gift for my sister whi has just started quilting.
OOH! Need this book! Can't taunt me about Kantha quilting and leave me hanging!
Looks like a great book...thanks for a chance to win
I think this book would be perfect for me, because here in Copenhagen, Denmark, there reaally aren't a lot of quilt shops (I only know of 1), and hardly any classes....so I have to figure out how to do things by myself - either by reading magazines, books, blogs or ask some of my online quilting buddies.
This book would be such an awesome place to look for help for me ;)
Thanks so much for a chance to add this wonderful reference book to my 'library'. I'm forever scrambling for how-to's when quilting and this book would be very helpful.
One can never have enough references, pattern ideas and general quilting information, as it is always growing and changing. This will be a awesome addition to my (currently very small) library.
Thank you Jackie and Linda, for this opportunity.

Since you don't mention it, I assume that this giveaway is also for international readers of your blog :) I'd love to have one basic intsruction book that would include all basic knowledge about quilting, and sofar I haven't managed to find a satisfactory one. This one sounds like it!
Looks like a wonderful book! And like it would be a great help to me since my memory isn't as great as it should be anymore--it would be nice having a quick place to double check how something should be done!
Thanks Jackie for such a wonderful giveaway. It would make a great addition to my library because as a beginning quilter I need all the help I can get!
I would love to have this book. I guess I'm an experienced beginner quilter, at least with traditional piecing. So it sounds like this book would really help me improve my skills. Thanks for the giveaway.
It is nice to have a book that you can go to for reference for techniques. Most of the books I have like this are so old that I am due for a new one which would have the newest products too.

I loan books to my customers so they can learn techniques & they often have nice small projects in them. The free pattern would make a great lap throw, wallhanging or baby quilt!
Would love to win this as I am new to quilting and this would help me a lot. Not sure if you will post internationally but commenting just in case.
Great book! I'm a long time quilter, but self taught, so I'm sure I could learn a lot from that book! Thanks for the chance to win!Allison gougeonathome@charter.net
This would be a great reference as I try to learn/do things i see others doing online without the benefit of in-person instruction.
This looks like a great book -- everything you need to know in one book instead of looking through a bunch of books. It would be great to win this. Thanks for the give away.
I think this book is such a wonderful resource, I can see referring to it for years, a real keeper. Thanks for the chance.
Hi, I would love to have this book in my library, as it would be my first one!
Currently I'm borrowing magazines from my Mum!
Would love to have the book in my library and the baby quilt is ideal for a couple that I need to make
I don't have any quilting books, all my tips come from kind bloggers. It would be lovely to have a reference book on hand to go to to widen my experience
The colors in the Daisy Dot quilt are stunning! I think I need this book so I can be more creative in my choices for quilt tops:)
Wow, what a great book. It would be a great addition to my library as I am still a fairly new quilter and this would be a veritable encyclopedia :)
I need this SO badly! I am always so afraid to try new techniques, I get stuck in a rut pretty easily! Thank you!
Wow, the book looks great; I have tentatively begun piecing, but have not quilted anything yet!
you can never have enough books. i need a room for a quilting library. any thing to help with technique is a plus!
As someone who is still learning some of the basics, I would find this book very useful! Thanks so much!

What a great looking book. I think this would be an amazing thing to add to my books and one that would be the 'go to' for all things quilting from the looks of it. I am relatively new to quilting so I am positive it would be a great thing for me to own. Thanks so much for the chance to win this book.
Thank you for giving away this lovely book. I love learning new ways to do things. That is one of my favorite things about quilting, there are so many *right* ways to do things. It is wonderful to discover a new technique that works for you, the kind of thing where you smack your forehead and say, "Why didn't I ever think of doing that!" No matter how long we've quilted, there is always something new to learn.
I am a new quilter and have so much to learn. This book would be amazing to have in my library. Thanks for the chance to win. lynnegibson32@gmail.com
I would love to have a copy!! k.bugbee@att.net
Want to win the book? Are you kidding! I'm drooling just looking at the few pages that show layouts of quilts! If am lucky enough to win this book I'm going through my scrap stash to creat a border shown in one of the pictures and then spashing daisies all over the patchwork, spilling into the borders! Yes, I most definately would benefit from this book...but it won't spend much time on the bookshelf!

I need to have this book because I have to make eight teacher quilts before the end of the school year and I am running out of fresh ideas. BTW, I have four tops done, four to go.

Jackie, The Quilter's Bible would be an awesome book to START my quilting book library. While I have patterns, this would be the first quilting methods book that I've owned (if win). It would be so nice to look up "how to" do something (like the way to avoid bulk in seams for pinwheels or 4-9-patches). I especially want to learn applique and a basic book to get me started would be great. My PC Tower will not fit in my lap or chair arm the way this book will! Thanks for the opportunity.

I would treasure this book, and add it to the "lending shelf" in my sewing parlor. I would let the members of my new quilt group...Tombstone Piecemakers, of Tombstone, AZ.. borrow it. What a wonderful idea.. Thank you.
I have looked at this book many times, would LOVE to win it! Thank you for the chance.
This books looks like a must have for any quilter's library no matter the skill level. I love those types of books that "grow" with you :) This is definately going on my hubby's christmas (to-buy-me)list. Keeping fingers crossed :)
