Hello Everyone,
After showing you my Bali Bed Runner in progress last week, I transferred it to my home studio to work on and piece together all the "parts"! The past few days I have been working piecing the arcs to the melons. The only disadvantage to me having it on my design wall at home rather than in my classroom studio is that the bed runner is 104" long. My design wall at home is not that large.
Therefore, I have to put half up and only do half at a time. Does anyone else have that problem of not being able to put up an entire quilt at a time??
Anyway, let's take a peek at the parts that I have together...
I have one square done and I just love how it looks. I am smitten with the raspberries and purples that my friend Deb and I picked to put in the quilt. They make my heart sing!!
Here is one of the edges of the quilt. This will get curved binding.
Here is a corner unit. I really like how the aqua surrounds the pink.
Here are those three parts laid out where they will be. I am very excited about this quilt and love the way the colors are coming together.
Here is the first half of the quilt. You can see the other parts on the right that I still need to join together. I will work on those tomorrow and hopefully be able to get the second half up on the design wall to work on it on Thursday. So stay tuned, I hope to have more to show you soon.
If you would like to make this quilt, we will have this kitted up for you and in the shop soon. In the meantime, if you would like the pattern, just click here.

I never have room to do a big quilt or long quilt either on my design wall which is a portable wall and only about 72 x 72 or something like that.
Beautiful! love the bright colors on the B&W background.
Stunning!
Love those raspberries and grapes with the turquoise! Hope this will go into the DWR challenge.
I am putting your bed runner on my Christmas list to Santa. Do you think I have been nice enough? Beautiful color choices.
I love the color combination you chose. Nice job!
