Lunch Anyone??

Hello Everyone,

First things first... I have the BEST READERS ever!!!  I loved reading every single one of your comments on my last post.  I smiled and laughed through everyone of them... I am NOT alone.  If you haven't read the post, just click here and don't forget to read the comments too!

In the last post you may have noticed my design wall with a project in progress.  Well it is now finished, sort of... it isn't quilted yet, but the excitement is building.

I paper pieced four placemats and a table runner.

They were made from a Bali Pop (2.5 inch pre-cut strips) that were sitting in my stash.  I figured it was time to use them up.

Don't you just want to join me for some lunch now?  I do love how they look and am ready to make more!!

This is a Judy Niemeyer pattern called...

If you have never paper pieced this is really a great one to get started with as it is small and straight forward.  You can find it in my shop by clicking here.

Now to quilt them so I can actually use them!

Just for fun...

Pavi and Watson were having fun in the empty fabric boxes.  We stacked them so it was sort of a high rise.  They are so much fun to watch!

Until Next Time...

What lovely kitties. I lost my 21 year old cat a few years back and I have to say I miss having a cat around the house. Not sure my dog would agree with me though - our cat Sooty used to keep her in line too!

Ooh. I love that pattern. We need to talk about the possibility of you teaching this at the getaway in March.

These are beautiful. I made several table runners and a set of placemats for Christmas gifts. I made the tops, basted them to one piece of batting and backing and quilted them all at once. Then cut them apart and bound them. Quick and still looked like a lot of work.

Love the kitty box tree! Think we may have to make Baxter one. ;-)
