Hello Everyone,
One of my favorite things about going to a guild meeting is the show and tell. On Sunday at our Mod Conn Quilt Guild meeting, it was no exception. Loved it!!
I would like to share with you some of the quilts from the talented ladies.
Susan's quilt. Entirely appliqued for her daughter Maddie. Wonderful design.
Susan's little bag! A free pattern that can be found here.
Michele's quilt for the preemie unit in the hospital.
And her very beautiful green and yellow quilt.
Heather's wonky rectangle quilt. Love the colors.
Karen's quilt... I think it looks like zippers!
Here newest one that she had on her blog just last week.
An oldie but a goodie from me. Rainbow HSTs.
Square in square strip quilt.
Susan's mug rug.
Her beautiful hand dyed fabric. Love the color!
She also made these cute little fabric vases. I just love this idea!
Hope you enjoyed the show and tell as much as I did!! Stop back tomorrow for something special!
Until Next Time...

Thanks for sharing your guilds' show and tell-- amazing projects by all! I think I know Susan Q (the 2nd Susan) in your photos-- (if she's an environmental educator, I used to work with her)-- if so, please tell her I said hello at your next meeting. [Update: Blogger issue has been resolved!]
Love all the photos and quilts. Lots of great talent.

I love show and tell. Great projects from everyone.
It's so fun and stimulating to get together with other quilters. Did you go home with ideas for more quilts? lol
WHAT MAKES A QUILT GUILD MODERN? How do the modern quilt guilds differ from traditional older quilt guild? What type of activities do you do?
What makes a modern quilt pattern/ style different?
I have tried to figure out what the difference is but I have never found anything in writing or a statement that indicates if there is or is not a difference.
Thanks
