Hello Everyone,
Since Tuesday, I have been on the road! I travelled to O'Fallon, Illinois to do a lecture and Workshop at the Heart N' Hands Quilt Guild.
I had a fantastic time and I want to tell you that this is an EXTREMELY talented group of ladies! Unbelievable talent...
These are some of the winning quilts from their quilt show that was held the weekend before I arrived. After seeing these quilts, I would have loved to have attended their show. These quilts were phenomenal.
Here is the crowd. This is a large guild and they were truly warm and wonderful.
Take a look at the quilting on these quilts... just outstanding workmanship.
Now moving onto the workshop. I taught Judy Niemeyer's Desert Sky. Pattern is available by clicking here.
These photos are some snippets of what happened in class.
Here are four blocks done. They are beautiful.
The class.
One of the ladies was wearing this shirt... How true is this??
Love the jewel tones in this one.
Here are most of the ladies creations from the day! They did a wonderful job!
Here they are... the ladies of the Heart N' Hand Quilt Guild! Thank you all for a fabulous workshop!!
Then, Margaret, one of the guild's members stopped by to show me her winning Judy Niemeyer Sand Devils quilt! She won third place in her show. Way to go Margaret!!
Isn't the quilt gorgeous? You can find this pattern by clicking here.
It has been a whirlwind, but a wonderful trip... bye, bye St. Louis... and O'Fallon!
If would like to see more photos just click here.
Until Next Time...

Darn it, I forgot all about this! I was going to try and come. Glad you had a good time!

You sure have been traveling! Your groups always make the most wonderful quilts.
Seeing the quilts just made my decision to attend a Judy Niemeyer retreat in 2014 more firm. I can't wait.
Terrific quilts! Your pictures brought back memories of when we lived in O'Fallon. They had the best quilt shops and the city of St. Louis is one of my favorites!
