Oh The Possibilities...

Hello Everyone,

Many of you who know me, know that I love SILK!!  So what I am about to show you is something that I just could not pass up...

Let me introduce to you Radiance.  This fabric is a silk and cotton blend made just for quilters! The color palette above is Harvest.  Of course, when I was at Quilt Market... Miss Amy twisted my arm ever so slightly to purchase it for my shop so that all of you can give it a try too!  You can find it by clicking here, in other color ways too!  They are 1/2 yard bundles.

But that is not all...

I also purchased Kaffe Fassett ribbons for all of us to try too!  Aren't they gorgeous?  You can find them by clicking here.

But look at this...

Ribbon #1... Fabulous!

Ribbon #2... looks great with the fabrics too.

As does ribbon #3!

And ribbon #4!

Are you in the Christmas spirit?  Add a little green.

Then I saw this table runner done in the silks with ribbon...  Hmm... a project in the making, I think.  This pattern I don't have in the shop yet.  Hopefully soon.  But if you can't wait....

Just click here.

Tell me your thoughts on this fabric and ribbon.  I think it is elegant looking and so soft and silky to the touch.  I wish you could just feel it through the computer.  All I can say is YUM, I feel a new project coming on!

What would you do with Radiance and Ribbon?

Until Next Time...

This beautiful tablecloth. I love purple. These tapes are very good! Too bad you're in America or not Hungary. :)

Jackie...these look stunning. So elegant. I can't wait to try them but unfortunately this time of year the budget just doesn't allow for splurging on fabric. Maybe I can add them to my wish list. I think I entered a giveaway for them...I can hope!!!

I was drooling over those when Amy posted her purchase. The name says it all -- radiance --- colors so radiant, but I can just tell I'd want to "pet" this fabric because it probably has a dreamy hand.(how's that for a major run on sentence?)

Silk is such a beautiful, durable fiber... I can't wait to see this fabric in action!!!!

I think the silk would be fantastic to work with in crazy quilting. I especially love to find white silk.. And the ribbon is just delightful!! I love ribbon of all kinds. To me it speaks of those moments I opened my mom's buttons and bobs boxes and dug through her goodies in amazement.

Oh dear, I love silk. This is not going to help my resolution to cut fabric spending. They look wonderful.

Love, love, love! I'm a fan of Kaffe Fassett and the ribbon is amazing, as is the Radiance. I've sworn off fabric purchases for December, but January is just around the corner!!

Gorgeous! I'd make a "feely" square for a baby with Radiance and Ribbon.

That Radiance fabric is stunning! It looks like it's absolutely fabulous to work with! Do you have to use a stabilizer with that?

I'm not completely sure what I'd use them for, but they'd never even go near a table! Who'd want to risk anything splooshing on those glorious fabrics and ribbons?

ACK! Are you serious?? I didn't even know there was such a thing as Kaffe ribbon. must have them. must have!

I'm freaking out over the fabulousness of it all. The SILKS look divine!

You know, I saw THE cutest mini log cabin antique quilt at the International Quilt Festival. One of these days, I'd love to make one for my home.
