Quilting Sneak Peek

Hello Everyone,

I thought you might like a little sneak peek at a project I have been working on... Unfortunately, I can only show you the back and the quilting. The rest will have to wait.

I quilted a beautiful daisy design over the entire surface of the quilt. The thread I used was a Superior variegated poly (Lava). I love the effect of this because it gives a little sheen.

Here is a closer look at the quilting. You may be able to see it even better by clicking on the photo. So I will most likely be able to show you the rest sometime in July, so hang in there.

Oh, if you like Art Gallery Fabrics they are on sale in my shop today and tomorrow only for $6.50 per yard. You can find them by clicking here.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway here.

Until Next Time...

Hmmm...is it a Superior polyester? Like King Tut that is variagated? We don't carry any rayon in our threads. Looks like a fun design for quilting.

Gorgeous fabric and gorgeous quilting!

This looks terrific, but I have an ignorant question. Are you quilting freehand or is this a pantograph? I'm amazed by the eye/hand coordination required for freehand stitching. When it's done this well, I'm never sure which method was used. Beautiful work!

I love that quilting pattern! I just bought some Superior Thread (King Tut, actually), but cotton. I'm anxious to try quilting with it.
