From Dog's Ears to Cat's Faces

Hello Quilting Friends,

I have made some progress on my mystery quilt!! After making all those half square triangles, and cutting off all those dog ears, I then created cat faces. Yes, don't believe me take a look....

See what I mean. Don't they look like cat faces?? I don't know what I am doing with them yet because I am still not caught up yet on my clues. But I can tell you that I am working hard to catch up. A girl can only do so much. But I do dream about being caught up.

Also, just thought I would let you know that Brenda at Little Acorns is having a 20% off sale. So be sure to stop by and browse some.

Check out these new customer pictures I added here. I have some more coming in the next post and lots of goodies to post next time too!!

Until next time, happy quilting,

Well yes they are. Ha-ha.. next you will probably have to make their bodies, then stich on whiskers!
I bet it's really a star of some kind :-) The suspense builds!

Well I'm interested to see what they become. They look like cat faces, yes. How funny. I've never done a mystery quilt before. I guess I've always shyed away from not knowing what I'm doing! But you make it look fun.

The fabrics are so pretty! And LOL! Don't be too disappointed if they are not cats....it would be cute, though!

ONLY a quilter can make cat faces from cutting of dog ears! Curious to see what they become. Curious as a cat!

Hi Jackie,
I thought before that you're the same person with Jacquie (I didn't see the profile, just remember the similar phonics). You did a great job in quilting. I just pop out from Eleen's blog. I've plan to try patchwork but a little confused where to start as a beginner. I found a quilting book couple days ago, maybe you don't mind to see it at my blog and give me some advice. Thank you..:)

Yes, they do look like cat's faces. Looking forward to seeing how the quilt looks when it's finished.
Love the music motifs you quilted on your customers quilt. Too cool.
