Hello Everyone,
Last night I had the pleasure of speaking at a fabulous guild in Mineola, NY, the Evening Star Quilt Guild. Much to my delight I saw a few familiar faces there and was pleased as punch!! My friend Helen was there and didn't even know I was going to be there speaking. She was joining the guild that night!! You can visit the talented Helen here. And Jessica also came... and it was wonderful to see her beautiful little baby for the first time! You can visit Jessica here. I also met Teresa, an FB friend for the first time face to face and she was just as delighted as I imagined.
Anyway, Helen was kind enough to take some photos for me. Thank you, Helen! So this is a little sampling of the quilts that I brought along with me. My talk was about "Quilting the Quilt: A Longarmer's Perspective".
This is the Witches Brew Bed Runner. (Paper Pieced)

Love the presentation, but best of all you were in Mineola,NY. I lived in that area and had a business on Jericho Tpke. Now I live in Omaha, NE.
Having been to one of your trunk shows recently, I know what a wonderful job you do! Lucky ladies to see all of those quilts up close.
It was such a nice surprise to see you last night! I'm sorry I had to leave early, I would have loved to see the quilts in person, especially Which Way is North, from the 2 color bee.
Hope today's workshop went well!
Jackie, It was such a joy spending the evening and all of Friday with you. Thanks for visiting our club.
Wow! I enjoyed every minute of your trunk show and workshop. You really managed to be available to everyone in class at all times and the entire experience was fun and relaxing. Thanks Joanne Francis ESQ
