Evening Star Trunk Show

Hello Everyone,

Last night I had the pleasure of speaking at a fabulous guild in Mineola, NY, the Evening Star Quilt Guild.  Much to my delight I saw a few familiar faces there and was pleased as punch!! My friend Helen was there and didn't even know I was going to be there speaking.  She was joining the guild that night!! You can visit the talented Helen here.  And Jessica also came... and it was wonderful to see her beautiful little baby for the first time!  You can visit Jessica here.  I also met Teresa, an FB friend for the first time face to face and she was just as delighted as I imagined.

Anyway, Helen was kind enough to take some photos for me.  Thank you, Helen! So this is a little sampling of the quilts that I brought along with me.  My talk was about "Quilting the Quilt:  A Longarmer's Perspective".

This is the Witches Brew Bed Runner. (Paper Pieced)

Cattails in the Meadow. (Paper Pieced)

Which Way is North?  (Paper Pieced)

Feathered Star Queen Size  (Paper Pieced)

My design... Diamonds In The Rough.

My design Island Breeze.

Today, I am teaching a workshop to the guild... so stay tuned for pics from the workshop!

All the paper pieced Judy Niemeyer patterns above are available by clicking here.

Until Next Time...

Love the presentation, but best of all you were in Mineola,NY. I lived in that area and had a business on Jericho Tpke. Now I live in Omaha, NE.

Having been to one of your trunk shows recently, I know what a wonderful job you do! Lucky ladies to see all of those quilts up close.

It was such a nice surprise to see you last night! I'm sorry I had to leave early, I would have loved to see the quilts in person, especially Which Way is North, from the 2 color bee.
Hope today's workshop went well!
