Hello Everyone,
The past several days I have been sewing LOTS of flying geese!! Yesterday, I finished the geese. Luckily as I was making them, I just started putting them up on the design wall in no particular order...
This is not all of them, a small portion... how many do you think I made? Go ahead take a guess.
The answer is 164! Yup.. that is right 164... I made them all by using the method that I teach in this tutorial here. This method yields 4 flying geese... at once. Very quick, very easy.
Now for the layout. You are probably wondering what I am doing with all these geese? Well, this is the last you will see of them until sometime next year. They are going into a quilt I have designed that will be published next year. So you will have to wait.
I know... I am sorry that I can't show you anymore, but trust me you will get to see this again and much more!! Stay tuned!
Until Next Time...

I LOVE flying geese, Jackie so now I can't wait to see what you are doing with all these!!!
I love all those flying geese! And, making 4 at one time is amazing! I am going to have to check out your tutorial! I can't wait to see what your pattern.
I make them like that a lot of the time too.
Nice! Thanks for the tute!
I have tried this technique also; I wanted to say be careful of directional fabric, you end up with 2 going vertical and 2 horizontally.
I think they make a fine looking quilt just as they are!
I think they look great just like that!! I'll be checking out your tutorial, making 4 at once sounds very efficient! I think it's fun that you're going to keep us in suspence wondering what you'll make with your flock of geese.
I love your flying geese just as they are on your design wall, but you will no doubt create another spectacular layout.
