What Makes a Day a Good Day?

Hello Everyone,

Taking the time to notice the little things sometimes makes a day good and possibly great!

Over the last three days here are some of the things that made my day.

A Luna moth on my driveway.  Just perfection!

Feathers I quilted on a quilt.

Best buds taking a snooze together.

Major cuteness watching me outside.

Date night dinner with my hubs on Friday...  super yummy!

And a picture perfect end to the day on Saturday.

So... what makes your day a good day?

What made my day? Lots of time to sew today, dancing along with the music in between sewing, a nice glass of wine with dinner and seeing the photo of your lovely ginger kitty looking out the window. He looks very stern, I'm guessing he didn't appreciate you taking his photo! I love ginger cats (and most other ones too!).

I'm just thrilled that I know people who know what a luna moth is.

That luna moth is beautiful!

We had date night last night. Cedar planked salmon with brocolini. It was yum!

I love that moth, that would be wonderful to do in a quilt. We went paddling in the bay and the birds and fresh sea air was enough to make my day.

What a beautiful Lunar moth. We don't get those in our Country ( NZ ). Lovely quilting too and love the cat's folded paws.

You have some absolutely amazing photos in this post. I've never seen anything like that moth -- how intriguing! I love the photo of the kitty looking out the window.
Seeing the sun and having summer-like weather even before it's officially summer makes it a perfect day for me!

LOVE your cat pics - the screen one is too funny! He looks like he has lots of character. :) And that moth - I hate moths, but that one is gorgeous! (Did I just say a moth is gorgeous???) I really hate it when they fly in my face. Bleahhhh!

Those purple feathers are amazing. I love them. What a great color to put next to the gray.

Happiness if having my family here for my daughter's college graduation! Abby was so happy to have her kids home and to meet her grandparents for the very first time. Major sulking on the horizon as everyone departs. Love the feathers and the luna moth is Mother Nature at her finest.
