A Berry Good Giveaway

Hello Everyone,

As many of you know I was on a retreat last week.  During that week I finished my Desert Sky Quilt. I am really in love with the way that it turned out too!

But as with all my quilts, I rename them because they don't necessarily look like what the original pattern was named.

I thought I would have a little contest to name this quilt.  What better way than to ask my readers?

So what do you think I should name this quilt?

There will be two winners!!

One winner will receive Judy Niemeyer's pattern

One winner will receive 6 batik fat quarters.... 2 blue, 2 hot pink, and 2 green from the fabrics that I used in the quilt.

Here is how to enter:

1.  You MUST leave a comment here on THIS blog post giving me your suggestion for a name for the quilt and you must leave a way for me to get a hold of you (preferably e-mail)

That is it!!

The winners will be chosen... one will be the person who named my quilt and the other will be randomly chosen.

The giveaway will remain open through June 11.

If you like to purchase either the pattern or batik fabrics they can be found by clicking here and here.

Best of luck to all!

***This giveaway is now closed.  Thank you to all who entered***

Until Next Time...

Hmmm.. My first thought was "Caribbean Stars" The colors remind me of the colors you see when visiting in the Caribbean. Of course it could be "Caribbean Burst" instead of stars. It does look a bit "bright" for a the night sky. But then there is always creative license to consider.

My thought was 'Starry starry sky' even before I had read any of the text. So the 'sky' in the original title was appropriate!! Now I've got that tune in my head that starts with 'starry starry night...' I can hum it but when I get to the chorus I draw a blank... What was it again? ooooh....
