Hello Everyone,
As you know, I have been busy piecing the borders for my Glacier Star quilt to make it a queen size instead of just a wall hanging. In the border you will find quite a bit of these...
flying geese. See all those trimmings, well there wasn't just one set of geese...
no, not one...
not two...
not three..
but a whole flock or gaggle!! Can you hear them now?? I sure can! They were fun to make, but I'll tell you when you make anything larger than a lap size everything gets multiplied by a gazillian!
Now they are all stacked and ready to fly right into the borders of my Glacier Star quilt! Can you tell I LOVE to paper piece?
If you forgot, go get the 6th installment of the Blogger's BOM here. I know you will love it!
Make sure you come back here on Wednesday for a very special announcement!
Until Next Time...

Oh my gosh...your flying geese can be heard all the way up in Nova Scotia! Love them. I finished my bloggers BOM...I think it was my favorite so far. Really fun to make!
Oh Wow Jackie, it's very noisy at your place right now!!! Those geese are amazing, you have been working hard. xo
Wow, love those geese. Beautiful work!
Hehe! Yep, lots and lots of gorgeous geese. :)
Loud and clear and beautiful!!!
Great geese and wonderful background fabric for them.
I just finished your red & white geese and am proud to say I did not make any mistakes with your method (a first for me)
lovely, lovely - I always like the patterns for paper piecing then when I sit at the machine I hate it. I need to finish my pineapple blocks so I can start a New York Beauty.

OMG what a lot of geese!! I guess the variety of colors would keep you from getting bored while making them. It is amazing how much work a pieced border is. It is usually almost the same amount of hours as the center of a quilt.
Wow! Those are beautiful. Not sure if I have that much patience anymore.
Oh, how beautiful!! I cannot wait to see your completed top!
I think I just might hear some geese as they fly back north for the summer (wishful thinking?)
What a beautiful gaggle too!!!
Wow! Looks amazing and like tons of work. Can't wait to see it all together!
