Happy Labor Day!
Now that September has officially arrived I am beginning to long for those long gone blooms of...
my wonderfully pink peonies!
They just make me smile. But I guess I must just settle for the photos until I see them again next summer. Sigh!

I love peonies too, they are just so beautiful.

When I was 10 & 11 our front door was surrounded by peonies. I just loved them. That was in Connecticut. Now I am in south Florida and we don't have peonies. I miss them... Your pictures bring back memories. Thanks for sharing.
I also LOVE peonies (as did my grandmother). (Sigh.) It's a long time until Spring.
But it's a beautiful, balmy 65 degree day here in the Midwest. A welcome respite after sweltering heat.

I miss my peonies too Jackie! Along with lots of other flowers I seem to have missed out on this summer! It all went by so quickly! :0/
