Hello Everyone,
My Peruvian Pinwheels quilt is now completed. I added the blue binding and it frames it up nicely. I signed the back for Rosa and wrote out a special card for her.
As you read this post now, I have delivered it to Victoria so that she can take it on the long journey to Peru for me. Oh how I wish I was going back there with her. What a wonderful magical place.
I think that Rosa will love it. Thanks, Victoria for taking it to her for me! If you are interested in making one just like this, you can see my Lil' Twister Tutorial on the left sidebar or just click here.
One other side note, this week's special in my online shop is ALL Art Gallery fabrics are on marked down to $7.15 per yard. Just click here to see all the lovely fabrics.
Until Next Time...

Hi Jackie, how funny, I have just posted my completed quilt with the same design ! Mine is also a gift.
I can imagine the joy from Rosa when she opens this colorful little beauty. Something to treasure forever.
That is beautiful. So colorful and cheery!
I really love that border with the stripes cut on an angle. I may "borrow" that idea.
It's just beautiful, Jackie. Rosa will treasure it.
I;m changing my name to Rosa...will it work?? lol Beautiful quilt
What a beautiful quilt. How lucky is Rosa to be receiving it.
Thank you the tut too.
Anyone would love that one.
Your quilt is glorious (first word that came to mind). Your quilting idea is so perfect. Rosa is going to be so happy with your gift.
Rosa's quilt turned out beautifully Jackie - I know she is going to be thrilled - who wouldn't! Hopefully Victoria will have room for it in her carry on bag - I would hate to pack such a treasure in checked luggage.
Awesome! You did a great job.
Hi Jackie--
The quilt came out just beautiful-- both sides-- its like 2 quilts in one! It's really special--Rosa will treasure it.
I love the L'il Twister pattern and checked out the tutorial, but am still not quite sure how challenging it is. Would it be appropriate for an advanced beginner, or should I wait until I have more experience? I like the fact that its more wall or lap sized-- I'm trying to take on smaller projects.
Let me know what you think! Thanks!
I know Rosa will LOVE it!
That was fast...totally love it!
It's great Jackie!
Thats a wonderful project. Love that choice of the blue boarder.
I absolutely love the colors and the quilting, you did a superb job.
Wow! Watching the progress was impressive enough, but now that it is done (including the stunning quilting) it is really a work of art.
Love your pinwheels! What a beautiful gift!
Oh Jackie, it's stunning! The fabrics you have chosen are perfect for the pinwheels. Love the quilting too. :-)
Oh this makes me Quilty Happy and Fabric Pattern Inspired! What amazing work you do.
The quilt is lovely but your quilting makes it stellar! Rosa will be deliriously happy to receive this!
Beautiful!
