Hello Everyone,
Just call me crazy, Star Crazy that is... This is the newest BOM from The Quilt Show. I have been waiting since October for the first month of instructions to come out. Well they are here, and I just have to make this. Isn't it a beauty?
But the worst part is, I think I am going to make two of them simultaneously. So do you think I can do it or am I just crazy? If you all would like to join in, just head over to see Nedra and let her know. Then go download the instructions from The Quilt Show.
In other notes,
- Don't forget to go to my online store for the 20% off sale, it ends 1/7/10.

Yes! I love this... look at all of those bright stars! You aren't crazy...well, not that crazy anyway.... I am doing 3 BOMs and I already finished a whole quilt worth of blocks on the 1st... hope to have the top together today. :)
definitely not crazy. it's gorgeous. i saw it yesterday and am very tempted to make it too. i'll let you know if i sign up.
If you are crazy, then so am I because I'm doing the applique BOM "Hugs and Kisses". I even purchased the kit. Remember my last post with the 5 applique UFOs? I just added a sixth. Now I really need to get hopping, huh?
Gorgeous!
that is a very wonderful looking quilt. I went to Nedra's site to see the link you posted and saw the close up of the quilting too - it looked great.
What is the membership for the quilt show and what do you get with it? I have not actually looked at that site.

I can see why that BOM is hard to resist! It is absolutely stunning. I am looking forward to following your progress :)
Beautiful! Looking forward to watching the progress of BOTH of your quilts.
That is beautiful..if you make 2, what fabrics will you use?
Oh Jackie, this is the BOM that I am thinking about making also. I have to finish the 2009 BOM but you have inspired me to start this one also. I'll link over and add my name to the list.
That quilt is wonderful!
Not crazy!! If I weren't overloaded with projects, I would definitely join you and Nedra. They will be awesome Jackie!
What a knockout! You are not crazy to make two simultaneously! I think if you are gonna make two, that's the only way to go! Good luck!
So many pieces... looks beautiful!
The quilts are going to be awesome when you are done with them :)
A very happy New year :D
You make such beautiful quilts and you're NOT crazy! It's a beautiful quilt and I know you'll do it!!!
Jackie,
Thank you so much for blogging about this and getting others to join us! I know we are going to have a lot of fun. And you are doing TWO?? I remember you asked me to keep a fire under you; now it may need to be a BLAZE!
Wow this is a lot of work, 2 at the same time.. Hmm yes I am sure you can do it;-))
The quilt is stunning and I wish you the best of luck!
LOVE the BOM!
I'm very tempted.
You're not crazy- you're a quilter! I've been trying to find the right design for our anniversary quilt. Bill likes stars, so I was thinking about Judy Neimeyer's wedding ring star. But I like the idea of doing a block of the month to stay on track.
It is just beaufutiful!!!
First Nedra...and now you...I'm thinking about this one!
It's a beautiful quilt, go for it!
go for it! I think if you are going to make two, then doing them both together is the best way to go.
The word I would use is "ambitious" -- and I know how it is when you fall in love with something. You feel you need to make it right away -- and why not make two together?!
Diane
thanks for the info Jackie - I will join the quilt show tomorrow and get the instructions printed out - I read over the site and it looks really interesting and you are right the pattern alone is worth the fee.

Happy New Year to you too Jackie. Love the quilt you are going to do twice over. I'm goign to be doing Pond House (Lynette Anderson) Elves (Gail Pan) and Christmas Wish (Anni Downs) as well as lots of little stuff. My list is huge!
You can do it! What's 2 blocks, right? :)
Enjoy your cold weather! :)
What a gorgeous quilt. It's worth making two, and it looks like fun. Will the fabric recipes be the same or different?
Karen
This is a gorgeous quilt .... I think there may be another one joining this BOM!
That is gorgeous -- love the bright stars! I'm looking forward to seeing your two versions of it!
It's bitterly cold here too. When will spring arrive? :-)
It was 16 when I drove to work this morning. I know it is worse back there though. I love this quilt. I was just admiring it over at Nedra's.
You are NOT crazy! I have done it twice before with great results! When I finish a quilt, I find that I am always in a hurry to rush off to the next new project and don't want to re-do something I've just done. Making two at once solves that problem. Each step of the process takes a little longer, but in the end you have two quilts! Go for it!
You're not crazy. I want one too and might just make one for myself, it's beautiful. Enjoy reading your blog. Wish you were going to Paducah too!
Oh no...you're not crazy...You GO
GIRL!! I'm off to Nedra's to check
it out for myself!!!
It's a beautiful quilt. I don't blame you one bit for wanting to make this one.
i saw it yesterday and am very tempted to make it too. i'll let you know if i sign up.
