Quilt Market Photos Part 2

Hello Everyone,

As promised, more market photos .... Yay!! Let's get started!

This first pick is a hold over from last post. It is the lovely Glenna Hailey from Holly Hock Quilts signing her book for my friend Pam.

For those of you who are fans, the next photo needs no explaining. But for those of you who are not sure, yes this is Kaffe Fassett signing his new book for me!!

Now I know that if you didn't know who that was in the last pic, all of you in blogging land will surely know some of the faces in the next picture.  From left to right... my friend Pam, me, Elizabeth from Late Bloomer Quilts, the ever popular Pam aka PKM aka Pam Kitty Morning, Kim Gillilan and Nan Smith of Nan and Kim Designs.  Kim and Nan shared with us the new line of fabric they will have with Wilmington prints in the spring. It is really a pretty line, I am sure you will all love!!

The next one is of myself and Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs. She had a wonderful booth soooo beautiful. She was just one of the nicest people, loved her and her work.

For those of you who know the Noah's Ark BOM, well this is her. The infamous Lynette Anderson. I can't begin to tell you what a lovely person she truly was. Her son Ed was such a doll too. We had a wonderful conversation with her and her work was also to die for. Lovely!!

We took a little break and went to the park across the street from the convention center and spied this.... What a fantastically designed dragon golf cart. I want one. So cool click on it to check out the detail.

Then back in and we saw lovely Brenda from Little Acorns. She was also wonderful to meet and speak too!! Her booth and work were just wonderful. Such eye candy.

As I was leaving and taking a picture of her whole booth, Kimberly Jolly from the Fat Quarter Shop walked in to place an order with Brenda.

This next photo is of Quilt Soup's owner Barbara and her husband Mr. Soup.... tee hee! They were such a nice couple. I have to say her work was just stunning up close and personal.

So that is it for Part 2, stay tuned for more to come, believe it or not.

Oh and I updated my site with some new customer quilt pictures. Just click here.

Until next time, Happy Quilting,

Hi Jackie--

It was so much fun seeing you! Thanks for posting the great photos, too. I tried to steal the one of you and me for my blog, but couldn't get it. Could you send a pic to me so I can post it on mine? I'm going to show all my blogging stars tomorrow!! Thanks again---

This post took me back to last year when I was fortunate enough to be there! I recognize most of the quilt shops as I used to shop internationally until the $ dropped ... how sad! To meet Kaffe must have been a big thrill!
Hugs - Lurline/Australia!

Lucky duck! You have a Kaffe autographed book. The quilt market seems lots of fun. I think I missed a lot. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Maybe I should try and safe some money for a trip to good old USA :)
