Quilt Market Highlights... Etc.

Hello Everyone,

Most of you know that I was at Quilt Market last week.  Since then I returned to Connecticut to absolutely no power.  The power company has been slow to respond and it looks like a tornado blew through instead of a snow storm.

With no power comes no internet, so I have been unable to post anything to my blog or ship any orders from the shop, which I deeply apologize for and they will be shipping on Monday, November 7!

I am now at a place where I have internet access so I wanted to share some highlights from Quilt Market!! I appreciate your patience in waiting for this post.  So here we go...

Jane Sassaman's Beautiful quilt from her new fabric line.

Look at this fabulous dress that she made with the fabric!  I would so wear it!!

My friend Karen Eckmeier, The Quilted Lizard, doing a demo at schoolhouse.

A beautiful Artisan Batik Quilt.

Quilts by Karla Alexander.

A quilt made by Anita Grossman Solomon with Jan Krentz's new fabric line.

The view from our window of the convention center.

Beautiful booth for a beautiful new fabric line.

Jacqueline DeJonge and her beautiful quilt.

Another beautiful quilt of hers.

My quilt hanging in Quilt Magazine's booth.

Becky, The Quilting Book Lady and me!

Deb Tucker of Studio 180 Design and me.

Pat Bravo of Art Gallery Fabrics and me.

The fabulous PKM, Pam Viera McGinnis of Pam Kitty Morning fame.

Amy Ellis of Amy's Creative Side and me, we finally meet after so many years!! Such a pleasure!

If you would like to see more photos and TONS of the quilts from the show, just click here to go to the Flicker set for Quilt Market.

Until Next Time...

I've been thinking about you. I just got my power back in NH. It looks like a tornado up here too. I can't believe how much debris is all over the place up here. But today I intend to sew since I finally can!

Aha!!! That would be why Jacqueline's "Listen With Your Eyes" wasn't at the class I took with her last month. :D I'm so excited to be making that quilt~! Actually working on the little arcs for the stars today.
