Hello Everyone,
First things first, a very warm and heartfelt thanks to ALL of you who sent e-mails and commented wishing us well over the last few days. It gives me great comfort to know that many of you understand what we are going through right now. Just know that I have read EVERY comment and e-mail, I appreciate every one.
Our Rolo is no longer suffering and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
So, with that said, I thought you might all like a pick me up blog post. I know that I need one. Do you remember this post, where I gave you a little sneak peek?
Take a look at this quilt top that my friend, Justine, made with those luscious fabrics. Thank you, Justine... you are a peach!
Quick, fun, bright, bold, and cheerful, don't you think? The fabric is Pillow and Maxfield's Gypsy Bandana from Michael Miller and can be found here.
The quilt top is Perfect Ten. Quick and easy to piece and guess what you can get the QUILT KIT here!! Yes, you can make the same quilt and it would be a great gift for that teen in your life or just something to brighten your day like it is mine!!
So now, I just need to quilt this. I think a nice paisley design might just be the thing!
Until Next Time...

Now that quilt really brings "sunshine on a cloudy day..."
I'm in love with this line. I like how the quilt pattern really lets the fabric shine through. Paisleys are a perfect way to quilt it. Well chosen!
The quilt could make anyone smile!
Ooooh, how fun! I love the bright, pretty colors Jackie!
Happy Happy Happy. I so appreciate this post where you are human and explore the spectrum of emotion. Love to you and isn't it wonderful to ride the roller coaster of 2011 with the friends by your side? COmfort and sunshine to you, EM
That would look wonderful with paisley stitches.
Fun, happy quilts are great for cold, snowy days.

What a great cheery quilt, I would love to make someones day light up with it.
what a fun quilt pattern!
I've been a bit out of the loop, so I'm just saying now that I'm sorry about Rolo. We experienced such a loss in July, and it's fresh enough in my mind to know how you are feeling.
This quilt is stunning. I just love it and the fabric.
Gorgeous quilt top. Glad that you are keeping Rolo in your hearts!
What a wonderful way to bring a little joy in your life right now.

What an absolutely fabulously cheerful quilt -- perfect for this time of year! Makes one think of warmth and sunshine.
Those fabrics are fabulous. I can imagine all sorts of possibilities!
Just the ray of sunshine you need. So sorry about Rolo.
Hey Jackie - An easy pattern to follow and those colors were a delight!! A quick project, too. Can't wait to see it quilted - a RED binding will give it the finishing touch it deserves.
JUSTINE
Justine, It looks just like you!
I know Jackie will do a wonderful job quilting it. Please being it to Borders when it's done so we can all enjoy it!
