Hello Everyone,
Just two pieces of business first, my newest podcast, episode 6, is up and running. You can find it HERE or in iTunes. Also my October Newsletter is also been sent out, but you may also find it here. So now on to the fun stuff!
Here is another of my MOST favorite schoolhouse classes that Pam and I chose. It is all Kaffe all the time. Well, Liza Prior Lucy and Brandon Mably were also there. Definitely an extra added bonus.
We were treated to seeing the newest Kaffe Fassett Collective Fabrics. Also, we viewed quilts from his newest book Quilt Romance that many of you now have, including me!! Yippee!! I have a signed copy by Kaffe himself.
Okay, on with the show...
Brandon Mably modeling a messenger bag in his new fabric.
Cool new umbrella and a doggie rain jacket. These are, of course, made in water repellent Kaffe fabric. Genius, I say!
Yes, Yes, Yes, another BIG book from Kaffe and Liza due out next year!!!!
Quilt Romance.
Wonderful.

Just to die for!
Stars, see that blue green ring of stars?
Modeling the umbrella, no rain inside though.
He looks great quilt covered, don't you think!
Hope you enjoyed this installment! Check back really soon...
Until Next Time...

i CAN NOT believe I missed that..ugh..he was on my list and somehow I missed it...
Doesn't Kaffe know that it's bad luck to open an umbrella inside LOL? His fabrics are so gorgeous -- I need to get more of them 'cause I just don't have very many. It sounds like you had a fabulous time!
I have a signed copy of one of his knitting books and even though I no longer knit, I do treasure it. I love what he's done for the quilting world just as much as I loved what he did for the knitting world. :-)
Oh those quilts are just beautiful!!! The one with the ring of blue and green stars is just breathtaking. And I cringed when I saw an umbrella opened indoors! lol!
I. AM.SO. JEALOUS!!!!!
Drool!!!!
I saw Kaffe at festival but didn't get a chance to talk to him. Glad you snapped a few pictures.

I would have been hyperventilating and too shaky to take photos. Thanks for sharing your market time with us.
Jealous! Fabulous quilts - I love the one with the stars!
That looks like some fun.
And who doesn't just LOVE everything Kaffe! Thanks for the great posts full of eye candy from the show. I'll listen to your new podcast tomorrow while I'm stitching together my B&W quilt top. :-)
I have been enjoying your posts immensely. Very busy here so I haven't been so good to leave comments. But this post - oh my! I am green w/ envy. What an experience. And to see the Lollypop Trees w/ a dark background done by the designer herself? I am so floored. I will be looking at that one repeatedly for sure! Thanks for the ride, Jackie! :) Mary Beth
