Since purchasing the most recent copy of Quilts and More magazine, I have ooogled over every project. Then this week I decided to act. On Friday night, I went to Honey, I've Gone Quilting night with my quilting buddies at my favorite local shop.I started on this really cute bag in the magazine. All night I kept calling it the "Stinkin' Cute Bag" because it is just that! No really in the magazine it is called the Bloomin' Bag. Well you can judge for yourself because here it is.
I even had a wonderful model for the photo shoot. Doesn't the bag looks much better? Rolo, what a ham! He usually is trying to get in on things that are happening and loves his picture to be taken.

Jackie- this is just too cute. The funny thing is that I have been studying the same projects, too. Was it easy? I was trying to "figure" out the explanation for making the triangulally tips...for lack of a better word and I couldn't visualize it. I thought that it was probably one of those you just have to do it. Yours is particularly cute...good job!

I rarely buy any magazines but I did pick this one up this week. I love the Spice is Nice quilt by Monica Solorio-Snow. Unfortunately the last thing I need right now is another large project on my list!

That bag is adorable! I picked up the magazine but haven't had a chance to sit down and enjoy it yet. It's fun to see a real project made from it. And love the name of your evening out -- THAT is too stinkin' cute!!

Rolo is gorgeous - I think he's giving your lovely new bag his seal of approval. My pets always seem to appear when I'm taking blog photos.
That is such a hilarious picture! Very pretty bag, and I love all your yo-yo's too, i love them too, but my hands always cramp up when I try to make them, I'll have to get one of those handy yo-yo making tools!
