Hello Everyone,
Amy has done it once again! Another terrific Blogger Quilt Festival. Thank you, Amy!! I am also one of her sponsors for the wonderful prizes being given away. I will be giving to one of the lucky prize winners at Fat Quarter Set of 8 Different Essex Cotton/Linen Blends from my shop!! So make sure you get your entry linked up on Amy's Blog for a chance to win!!
So here is my entry. Now before you say anything, I know it is not quilted yet. I have shown this quilt before in this post here and here, but it is one of my absolute all time favorites that I made. If you are new to my blog, enjoy!
Introducing Chocolate Raspberry Truffle...
It is paper pieced and is a Judy Niemeyer pattern called a Touch of Spring.
I began it in a class with Judy and then finished it at home.
Also in the class with me was Marie Bostwick! Don't forget to enter my giveaway on the post about her newest book. Just click here, the giveaway is open through Sunday.
I pieced the borders so that they would be part chocolate and part raspberry.
Mmmm... nothing better than chocolate and raspberry together, right?
So maybe next time I show this quilt, I will have it quilted. I just need to sneak it on my long arm in between customer quilts! Cross your fingers!
Until Next Time...

Jackie,
I had missed the other posts you've written about Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, I'm so happy you chose to write about this project for the Spring Festival!
This has to be one of my all time favorite online quilts! I've paper pieced one quilt top and the pattern was by Judy Niemeyer. I'm green with envy that you took a class by her! I loved paper piecing that quilt, each little point was perfect! Every time I see a paper pieced quilt online I think, "i've got to work on another Judy Niemeyer project". So many projects, so little time.
Red is my favorite color and lately I've been thinking about working on a red and brown quilt. Your color placement on this quilt is stunning!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful top, I'll be eager to see it again when it's quilted.
I love the quilt, the colours are stunning and I can imagine you putting your magic quilting stitches in it. Perhaps you could make a n appointment with yourdself to do it.

This is the kind of quilt that you could look at for hours because there is so much to take in from the curved border, to the triangles, to the interplay of color.

Finished it at home - indeed! Well done.
