Hello Everyone,
As many of you know I was on a retreat last week. During that week I finished my Desert Sky Quilt. I am really in love with the way that it turned out too!
But as with all my quilts, I rename them because they don't necessarily look like what the original pattern was named.
I thought I would have a little contest to name this quilt. What better way than to ask my readers?
So what do you think I should name this quilt?
There will be two winners!!
One winner will receive Judy Niemeyer's pattern.
One winner will receive 6 batik fat quarters.... 2 blue, 2 hot pink, and 2 green from the fabrics that I used in the quilt.
Here is how to enter:
1. You MUST leave a comment here on THIS blog post giving me your suggestion for a name for the quilt and you must leave a way for me to get a hold of you (preferably e-mail)
That is it!!
The winners will be chosen... one will be the person who named my quilt and the other will be randomly chosen.
The giveaway will remain open through June 11.
If you like to purchase either the pattern or batik fabrics they can be found by clicking here and here.
Best of luck to all!
***This giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who entered***

I LOVE this! I'm not good at naming quilts but since it reminds me of fireworks how about Playing with Pyrotechnics.
The colors remind me of kiwi, rasberry, and blueberry salad. I love to use these in a summer salad, so I guess I would call it Summer Salad.

Love it! The colors are bright and remind me of summer slurpees... so I would suggest Slurpee Stars! :)
I'm thinking 'tropical sky' as a different name for 'desert sky'. A very simple change, but fitting IMO.
Lovely job!

Kiwi strawberry summer
"Citrus Sensation" because it reminds me of something sparkling and refreshing like one of those fantastic drinks you get in Hawaii with fresh fruit. Lovely quilt Jackie...the colors are divine.
Happy Sewing and thanks for the chance to win some of your yummy fabric.
For some reason, I'm thinking about Salt Water Taffy after seeing this quilt. I'm sure everyone else has already suggested every possible permutation of "berry", so I won't. Fruit Loops?
Summer Saturday. Today's post you asked "What makes your day a good day?". this beautiful quilt embodies the essence of a perfect summer day. Beautiful weather (the suns), fun and interesting things to see and do(varied and beautiful batiks), and quilting. ahhh a perfect summer saturday!
