Hello Everyone,
Just a quick break from Kaffe. I guarantee you that my next post will show you my progress on what I am making with those luscious fabrics. Thank you all for your input from the last post. I really took each and everyone into consideration.
So my friend, Justine (no blog) asked me to be her buddy in the All People Quilt Quarterly Challenge. So of course I said yes! We each had to make a journal cover. I think they came out really cool. What do you think?
Justine's (left) and Mine (right)
She was here last night until 10:00 and we were uploading them to the All People Quilt site.
Very cute cow button!
Justine loves cows! So of course she made a cow journal cover.
Handmade glass button.
I love brights and dots, so I made a bright dot cover.
Love the cows!
Love the dots!
Black and White and Spotted All Over!
Love them both! Anyway, since this is a contest there are two parts to it:
1. Head on over here and rate the photos (click on the photo then just hover over the stars and give a 1,2,3,4,or 5 star rating) our projects and leave a comment, if you like, (this requires you to login) pretty please! No logging in required to rate the photos!
2. Then beginning September 15, you can vote for our projects to win. That is of course if you like ours best. Don't worry I will remind you!
Justine and I would like to thank you all in advance for your support and truly hope that you will go and rate and then vote for us. I hope you like!
Next up... Kaffe!
Until Next Time...

Looks wonderful!
Terrific. I clicked on the link to rate it. Couldn't not find any way to do so. Plus to leave a comment you have to log in. Just an FYI. What am I not doing right?
Very cute journal covers. Can't wait to see the Kaffe project.
Thanks for being my buddy! The pictures came out great!!
The handmade button really makes it!
You girls did a great job, of course I will rate those 5 star photos!! On my way!!

{i could NOT get this pattern to work out for me to save my life. lol.}
I LOVE the one with the cows (I'm a country girl, so I couldn't resist it). What a great idea!
VERY cute Jackie! Projects are always more fun with a friend!
So cute. I bet they were fun to make. But you really distracted me with the new website -- so much to explore. Thank goodness for having the day off!
Can't wait for more Kaffe!
Both covers are beautifull! I like cows and dotts! seems you had a great time crafting with your friend.
Cute, cute, cute!
So cute!! You're so lucky to have a friend to sew with.

It is fun crafting with friends isn't it. Have a lovely time, cool fabrics too.
What a wonderful time you had, crafting with friend! I wish I had someone here to create something cute together, lucky you:)
Btw, all those book covers are gorgeous, I love the one with polka dot.
I raced over and voted straight away, of course you get 5 stars from me, they're adorable.
I love the dots and the cows - it is always fun to do a project with a friend. Good luck with the voting, I'll make a note to pop over on the 15th!
They are both adorable!! What a fun sewing night :)
Hia Jackie, what lovely book covers. Ooo love your collection of Kaffe. White would be excellent. I think it would look as stunning as the Dorling Kindesley book photo illustrations where the white background really makes the coloured part pop.
those are both so neat, what wonderful journal covers = seems to be the in thing to make I have seen so many recently, I will have to get busy when I get home and make some too.

I made one of these a while ago and really liked it. Went for a gift so I still don't have one.
Everyone I made the 'cute little bags' you posted a while back loved them. But now I have to make about half a dozen more-they're just TOO cute!
